Economics for Beginners

What is economics, really? This animated course for beginners argues that economics isn’t about dry charts or complicated formulas—it’s about the everyday choices people make and the tradeoffs behind those choices. Across nine short lessons, students build up the core ideas of economic thinking—cost, money, profit, and capitalism—and then look at how cronyism, socialism, and progressivism compare, with the recurring goal of learning to “think like an economist.”
